Marjan Faraidoono distributes the passes as part of World Teachers’ Day celebrations which will provide them access to all of the main attractions of the heritage site for Expo 2020.
From today, October 5, until October 8, Expo City Dubai provides free admission to teachers and teaching helpers in honor of World Teachers’ Day.
Marjan Faraidooni, director of education and culture at Expo City Dubai, says, “mentors motivate today’s students to become future leaders, inventors, and change-makers.”
“With this modest mark of our appreciation, we’re excited to welcome instructors and helpers from around the UAE,” said Faraidooni.
Expo City Dubai released recent information on the Expo School Programme and its offerings. Through various exploratory treks, interactive workshops, and an engaging scientific show, students will get more knowledge about crucial global issues and chances to investigate, learn, and play.
They include three journeys spanning global themes that may be tailored based on regions of interest and time: one via Terra, another through Alif, and a third Cultural Journey that incorporates the Vision and Women’s Pavilion.
For students of all ages, each voyage includes engaging, hands-on workshops that cover anything from animal habitats and water conservation to robot programming and the role of technology in waste management.
According to Faraidooni, the specially designed school outings include essential international issues, including the environment, technology, and establishing a more equitable society. The programs inspire children to consider their future, envision what it may look like in the future, and feel how they might contribute to improving everyone’s future.
School trips will develop and grow as Expo City Dubai introduces additional attractions. One may visit www.schools.expocitydubai.com and follow @exposchoolprogramme on social media to learn more about the Expo City School Program.
A one-day Attractions Pass for Expo City Dubai costs Dh120. Visitors can experience all of its premier pavilions.
Visitors will first be able to enter the Vision Pavilion, Women’s Pavilion, Terra – The Sustainability Pavilion, and Alif – The Mobility Pavilion with the pass, which is accessible online. Eventually, when more pavilions and attractions open, it will expand to accommodate more of them.
People of determination and children under 12 are permitted free admission to the attractions, but they must first pick up a free pass at one of Expo City Dubai’s ticketing kiosks. Al Wasl Plaza, which debuted on October 1, and the Surreal Water Feature are simultaneously available to everyone every day. Individual pavilion tickets for those who do not purchase the Attractions Pass cost Dh50 per person.
