The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment and the 1 Billion Meals initiative, the world’s largest food donation drive to help the poor and undernourished in 50 nations from four continents, declared that more than 2.5 million meals had been distributed throughout seven Asian nations (MBRCH).
Through the 1 Billion Meals initiative, which Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) ran, people and families in several Indian, Pakistani, Tajik, Kyrgyz, Kazakh, Philippine, and Cambodian cities and villages (underprivileged and malnourished) given food assistance. The meals were sent directly to roughly 75,000 customers in the form of food packs that contained all the items required for folks and families to cook healthful meals for several weeks.
Around 1,537,500 meals distribution took place in different Indian cities, villages, and rural areas, and equal distribution of 800,000 meals took place in four countries, 200,000 meals in each – in Kashmir, Bagh, Jrb Doteeh, and Muzaffarabad in Pakistan; Dushanbe, Kulob, Narakin, Varzob, and Jadat in Tajikistan; Bishkek, Osh, Jalalabad, and Alshui in Kyrgyzstan;
In addition, 100,000 meals were delivered in Surigao, Bubuthag, and Baghdaian in the Philippines, while another 100,000 meals were distributed to recipients in Cambodia in Phahkong, Kampong Som, and Kamion.

MBRGI, in partnership with MBRCH under its umbrella, reached significant populations of the less fortunate in several Asian countries through the 1 Billion Meals venture, which intends to provide immediate food aid and offer a safe place for societies that experience a lack of food security. This was stated by Sarah Al Nuaimi, Director of MBRGI.
Al Nuaimi underlined that “the 1 Billion Meals program continues distribution operations to deliver relief to millions in 50 countries across four continents throughout the globe, in keeping with MBRGI’s purpose to provide aid without discriminating between geographies, ethnicities, or faiths. She remarked that it is a translation of the principles of giving, compassion, and solidarity inherent in UAE culture.”
