300 young Foreign Journalists to attend workshops in UAE

The most significant training session of its kind, the “Global Program for the Motivation of Young Media Persons,” will be handled during the opening ceremony Global Media Congress (GMC), which is scheduled to take place from November 15 to 17, 2022. The ADNEC Group organizes the GMC strongly with the Emirates News Agency (WAM).

The UAE’s official news agency will invite three hundred young reporters from across the globe to participate in different courses.

The over two dozen seminars at the Congress will provide young writers in-depth instruction in various skills and vocations, including fact-checking, metaverse, screenplay writing, battling disinformation, audio content production, and a lot of other crucial topics.

An exposition and dedicated conference concentrating on the most recent advancements and the media industry’s future will be held at the event, which is being sponsored by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Court.

Mohammed Jalal Al Rayssi, Director-General of WAM, commented on his organization’s choice “to fly in a sizable number of young reporters with three to five years of experience to participate in the conference.” He explained that “it was intended to educate the following generation of media professionals on the most recent innovative and technological developments in the field of the mainstream press.”

“We don’t see it as a one-time project. We aim to fund a comparable level of participation at the successive Global Media Congresses”. He said, “We have planned around 30 seminars where participants will acquire the critical methods and abilities needed by young people seeking a promising career in the media sector.”

Al Rayssi noted that “in a globalized world, the fair transmission of information and experience is essential to establishing a level playing field, which was the justification for inviting journalists from various nations and continents.”

“We believe our moral obligation is to expose the young people arriving in Abu Dhabi to our offer of a vibrant culture.” “When they return to their home nations, we hope they will learn valuable lessons they can use in their professional lives to help their countries’ media industries thrive.”

“The UAE has always placed the utmost importance on being a global citizen in various fields. In the area of media, we are imitating the same model. He said we are excited to meet with such a large group of emerging journalists from various platforms, nations, continents, and cultural and language backgrounds”.

To support the growth of the media sector, ensure its long-term viability, and continue delivering vital, trustworthy, and highly reputable content, the conference offers the opportunity for diverse media institutions to explore alliances and cooperative projects. The event will include speeches from media leaders from all around the world on a variety of topics about the media industry’s future.

The Legislature is a world-class platform where sellers and buyers can meet, discover, p2p, do marketing, and discover different products, solutions, and technologies. Including over 150 companies having expertise in the media and development industry taking an active role, the Congress offers an incredible opportunity to take a significant step toward the world’s and the region’s media sector.

The Global Media Conference will feature the first summit of its type in the Middle East, with the topic Imagining the Future of the Media Industry as a component of the event’s schedule. The three-day conference seeks to bring together the media business to share ground-breaking concepts and innovative ideas that will shape the industry’s future. Additionally, it will provide a unique platform for highlighting the role of mass media in the Gulf Region, engaging a worldwide audience, and fostering creative partnerships that will develop the industry.
