The health authority warns everyone who may have obtained the Maiden Pharmaceuticals items not to use them.

The Department of Health Emirate of Abu Dhabi warned in an advisory on Friday. Four cough and cold drugs for children may be associated with Gambia deaths.

The organization encouraged everyone who may have acquired the items not to use them and to receive medical assistance if any of them had severe side effects.

According to reports, 66 children in the Gambia have perished due to the pharmaceuticals made by Maiden Pharmaceuticals in India. India began an inquiry and suspended all manufacture at the New Delhi-based business after a World Health Organization evaluation revealed that the pharmaceuticals may have contributed to the deaths. According to the World Health Organization, the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi claimed on social media that the four goods created by Maiden Pharmaceuticals Limited are not accessible to the entire healthcare business in the emirate because they include toxic ingredients.
