Road rage led to a guy being fined Dh10,000 for Punching a Motorist

A criminal court in Dubai penalized a 34-year-old European Dh10,000 for striking another motorist.

The victim reported the incident to the police, who transferred the information to the public prosecutor.

In interviews with the public prosecutor, the victim indicated that he was going at a permissible speed in the left lane of Al Khail Street as he approached Festival City from Jebel Ali. He faced the accused’s automobile, which was in front of him. The victim tried to use the high beam to suggest to him to allow him by, but the guy paid no notice.

He added, “I was in a hurry, the accused wouldn’t allow me to drive over to the fast lane, so I took the initiative to adjust my path by going to the parallel lane, but I was astonished following and cutting me off in the parallel lane as well.”

According to the victim, the accused reportedly followed the victim until they came to a halt at a stop sign. The victim then lowered his window and was struck as the accused got closer to him after getting out of his automobile. The forensic team analyzed the victim and concluded that the defendant had caused the injuries. In the police report, the accused confessed his role in the occurrence; the court then sentenced him.
